Isabell Bernard (SAG-AFTRA) began her professional modeling/acting career as a fashion model. She walked the runways for Marshall Fields, Carsons, Saks Fifth Ave., Lord & Taylor, the Chicago Apparel Center, and other fashion venues, where she modeled for Diane von Furstenberg, Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Perry Ellis, Bill Blass & other designers. She also modeled on local Chicago daytime TV shows. Other modeling included print work for Chicago’s daily papers, as well as EBONY magazine & other print outlets for products such as Ford, McDonald’s, Carsons, & Marshall Fields to name a few.
Ms. Bernard’s film projects include TV commercials & industrial/educational films for clients such as Marshall Fields, CNA Insurance, Xerox, Sears, & others.
Taking a break from modeling, she worked for Harpo Studios/The Oprah Show for 16 1/2 yrs. In her positions there, she interfaced with the audience/guests/celebs/production/legal & Oprah Winfrey herself. At Harpo many opportunities came her way: From being invited to attend events at Ms. Winfrey’s homes, to traveling with the Show to the Bahamas, as well as being a part of The Legend’s Ball weekend in Santa Barbara, CA.
After Harpo, Isabell in semi-retirement has added several print & film credits to her name. Aside from her annual trips to Paris with her husband, she’s literally traveled the world. She is excited to be a part of Albion Rose!
